Last updated: 16 July 2026
Who we are
Qestrel, company number 16817791, is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our registered address is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. Contact us at ben@qestrel.co.uk or 07584 139641.
Information we collect
We do not use website analytics. We receive information you choose to provide when you email, telephone or book a demonstration. This may include your name, work contact details, organisation, job role, meeting details and the contents of your enquiry.
When you book a demonstration, booking information is processed and stored by Cal.eu. Enquiries sent by email are stored in our email service.
How and why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, arrange demonstrations, provide requested information, discuss Qestrel software and maintain appropriate business records. We process it where necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, or for our legitimate interests in communicating with prospective and existing customers and operating our business.
Sharing and international processing
We use service providers, including Cal.eu and our email provider, to deliver these functions. They process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms. We do not sell personal information. Where a provider processes information outside the United Kingdom, we require an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism where UK data protection law requires one.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including responding to you, maintaining business records, meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes.
Cookies and analytics
Qestrel does not currently use website analytics or advertising cookies. Third-party services you choose to open, such as Cal.eu or LinkedIn, operate under their own privacy and cookie policies.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal information, object to processing, and receive portable data. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact ben@qestrel.co.uk to exercise a right.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with its revision date.
